Job Title: Mental Health Nurse
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £32,500 - £38,500
The White Trees Organisation, part of SureCare Residential Ltd provides residential and educational provisions for
vulnerable and complex young people who find themselves in residential care for a magnitude of reasons. Often
these are completely out of their control and/or comprehension. Our company was founded on the belief that what

Scope of the Role
Your role is to build effective relationships with our young people who use mental health services, and also with their
Key Workers. You may help one person to take their medication correctly while advising another about relevant
therapies or social activities.
Success comes from being able to establish trusting relationships quickly and to help individuals understand their
situation and get the best possible outcome.
The Mental Health Nurse’s role is pivotal in delivering holistic, high-quality care to our young people who are
experiencing a range of difficulties, emotional distress and/or mental illness. The unique nature of mental health
nursing means it is an emotionally demanding but rewarding career choice requiring exceptional dedication.
Personal Specification
* Hold a relevant Nursing Qualification and NMC Registered
* Proficient in patient care practices
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Develop and implement person centred care plans to meet individual needs
Main Duties
* Monitor and evaluate our Young Person’s progress and adjust care plans accordingly
* Attend all relevant meetings, training and reviews
* Provide high quality evidence based nursing care
* Provide therapeutic interventions and support to our young people
* Conduct assessments of our young peoples needs
*Administer medication and monitor it’s effectiveness
* Deliver training to staff when necessary, this will include Mental Health, Wellbeing practices and

* Undertake WhiteTrees Induction programme
* Complete regular NFPS physical intervention & Behaviour Management training
* Monthly supervisions with Senior Leadership Team and Wellbeing to support your development within
Whitetrees
